Centre for the Promotion of Arbitration Drums support for Okowa, Otuaro

As the general election draws nearer, the group under the aegis of The Centre for the Promotion of Arbitration has appealed to eligible voters in Delta State to cast their votes for Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship candidate, Senator Ifeanyi and his deputy Barr. Kingsley Otuaro.
Making the appeal in a communiqué signed by the National Coordinator and Corporate Communication Director of the group, Barr Jitobo Akanike and Mr. Samuel Orovwuje respectively, the group enjoined the people of Delta State to close rank and unite in one accord by voting the joint ticket of Ifeanyi Okowa and Kingsley Otuaro with a view of moving Delta State forward.
The group also reiterated that the emergence of distinguished Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and Barrister Kingsley Otuaro as the flag bearer of the PDP represent the wishes and aspirations of their party members across the State during the primaries held in December 2015, adding that the various nationalities in the state should put their differences behind, come together and vote for the twosome.
“The Center for the Promotion of Arbitration in the spirit of equity, transparency, inclusiveness and good governance appeal to all Deltan to vote enmass for Delta State PDP Governorship candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and his Deputy, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro in the coming election.
“The APC, LP and PDP are the three major parties in the state with varying degree of membership and followership. But the PDP is seemingly popular with majority of Deltans. We at the centre for the Promotion for Arbitration would like throw our unflinching support for the candidacy of Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa and Barrister Kingsley Otuaro,” the statement disclosed.
The group also passionately appealed to the contestant to come out with broad based campaign issues that would bring prosperity and development to the good people of Delta State, advises various nationalities that make up the state to learn how to accept one another and live together as one.
It added that the unwholesome politics of who becomes the governor in 2015 should not be used to create disharmony among the peace loving people of Delta State.
