Okowa’s Victory is a Devine Verdict-Ochor

The Executive Director Social Sevices on the board of Delta State Oil Producing and Development Commission (DESOPADEC) Hon. Ochor Chris Ochor, has sent his congratulatory message to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa on his victory at the electoral tribunal.
Addressing newsmen in Asaba after the verdict, Hon. Ochor praised the steadfastness of the tribunal for succumbing to the will of the people, as the victory of his excellency at the April polls was a divine mandate, “This is a verdict of God, his Excellency’s victory is incontestable, the people came out enmasse to vote for their choice, and this was reflected in the massive number of votes he got, so to contest and go against this, means going against the will of God”.
He spoke further by thanking all Deltans for the steadfast support given to his Excellency so far, urging them to continue. “His Excellency means well for all Deltans, his S.M.A.R.T agenda has already been put in place and there are many more blue prints on ground geared towards taking Delta State to the height it belongs.
He enjoined the opponents of his excellency to calm their supporters and collaborate with him so as to move the state forward, “This is not a time for war, this is a time for peace and corporation, we are all Deltans, and what we want is the best for our dear state and we believe so much in his excellency to provide us the kind of leadership needed to give us the state we so desire.
He rounded up by assuring all Deltans that our state is indeed in a safe hand and called on them to continue praying for his excellency to succeed, as delta state is about to experience unlimited prosperity, “This is not a victory for Okowa, neither is it a victory for the PDP but it’s a victory for all Deltans, as they were the one that chose his excellency and gave him the mandate, so by upholding his victory, the tribunal has upheld the wish, desire and mandate of the people”.
