Amai Development Union Rejects Ifeneziuche as King

OBIARUKU/Nigeria: The continued crises in Amai Kingdom have been linked to the kingship tussle and the people of the kingdom have called for urgent need to resolve the crises, so that the social and economic life of the people can be better.

The decision to leave in harmony was made after an expanded meeting which was held by the five quarters that make up the Amai Kingdom.

In their efforts to bring back sanity to the community, the meeting in a communiqué made available to Ndokwa Reporters, resolved that the large community will have to officially tender apology to the ruling house of Umuekum, one of the quarters, that has the present right to present the next king.

The meeting which was organised by the Amai development Union, stated that Umuekum Ruling House from proceedings did not present Chief Paul Ifeneziuche, who presently is being accorded the kingship authourity of the community, and the person presented by the ruling house, was High Chief Andrew Ikogwe but was disapproved by the other quarters of Amai.

The meeting resolved that at the moment, there is no one or person presented by the community as king, and Umuekum who has the right to present the new king should resolve the logjam that had militated the installation of the late king, Eze Monday Ossai.
