IDP CAMP: Activities Commences At Skill Acquisition Centre Utagba-Ogbe Technical College, Kwale
KWALE/Nigeria: Activities at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp located at the Skill Acquisition Centre Otagba-Ogbe Technical College, Kwale, has commenced with the cleaning up exercise by staff of the State Emergency Relief Agency (SERA).
The Skill Acquisition Centre, now serving as the IDP camp is presently undergoing rehabilitation as most facilities such as the water system, toilet and kitchen are currently receiving attention.
Staff of the State Emergency Relief Agency brought in 142 beds out of 200 allotted to each IDP camp.
It is anticipated that the IDP camp will serve as home to displaced persons from Ndokwa East and West Local Government Area.
Our correspondents reported that security personnel were present at the camp during the cleanup exercise.
