Fire Outbreak Victim Appeals To Govt For Assistance

AGBOR/Nigeria: A passionate appeal has been made by a widow who lost all her belonging in a fire incident that gutted her three bedroom flat apartment, to the Government of Delta State, good spirited citizens and philanthropic to come to her aids.

This appeal was made by Mrs. Patricia Adeoghe, a widow with five children who spoke to news men at the site of the inferno at Adoghe close off Ebuh Street Agbor Ika South Local Government Area.

Narrating her ordeal, she said on the faithful day which was on Sunday that she and her children  were in the church when they received a phone call that they should rushed down home which they did, only to see fire burning down their building and all their properties.

She further narrated that fire service men came to answer their distress call but that the efforts of the fire service men could not save the building nor their properties.

She disclosed that she and her children are practically handicapped, homeless and do not know what to do now while calling on God to come to their rescue through the Government and well-meaning Nigerians.

Also narrating their experience, Mr. Festus Imharanor, a younger brother to Mrs. Patricia Adoghe, said that the building was in order before they went to the church and that there were no signs of any imminent fire outbreak from within the house or around the compound and that they were surprised when they received a call that the building was on fire.

He exclaimed that they came back only to see that the building has been razed down with all their belonging with nothing left rather that only the clothes they wore to the church.

He as well called on well-meaning Nigerians, charity organizations, government at all levels to come to their aids in other to be able to start life afresh.
