ASABA/Nigeria: The death of the Presiding Bishop, of the Trinity Gospel Mission, Ughelli Delta State, Bishop Diamond Emuobor, had been described as a big loss to the Christendom especially at this time when the world is facing the Coronavirus pandemic.
In his reaction to the death, the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Religious Matters, Bishop Greatman Nmalagu said that the death was a shock and unbelievable as both spoke on Friday night, stating that there was no sign of pain or ailment as they discussed how the kingdom of God can be brought closer to the people especially in this period when the world is facing the deadly virus.
Bishop Nmalagu described the late Bishop, who was the founder of Trinity Gospel Mission as a man of faith, and lover of people. According to him, he is always seeking for peace amongst the people.
He pointed out that his death is one of the mysteries of God, because He is the ultimate in everything that concerns the life of man, as the scripture had fore told that it’s only the creator that decide man’s life on earth.
Bishop Nmalagu while commiserating with the Trinity Gospel Mission, the family of the late Bishop, the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, he admonished Christians not to lose faith on his death, as death can come anytime.
“His death was a shocking one, as we spoke and discussed the night before his death on issues that bothers on Christian welfare and worship in the state. There was no sign that he was sick. This is one of the mysteries of God, whom we worship. Let us take heart, and continue to pray for his soul, and the growth of the Church in the state. We as Christians have to take consolation that death is inevitable.’
“Bishop Diamond Emuobor, as we know is a man of peace, always there to encourage peaceful living and love amongst men. A man of faith, and lover of people. He will be missed by many who know him very well.”
The late Bishop Diamond Emuebor died Saturday April 18, 2020 at the age of 76 years.
