Retirement Comes Earlier than Expected, Retiring DBIR PRO

WARRI/Nigeria: The Public Relations Unit, Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, Head Quarters, Warri, have celebrated the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Mike Epue for his successful retirement from the State Civil Service.

In rejoicing with his boss for a successful service years, Mr. Giovanni R. Emephia who will be taking over from Mr. Epue, stated that he had a great time working with him as he is a very humble and kind hearted man.

Also speaking, the staff of the board poured encomium on the outgoing PRO, saying that he is a very good man with a large heart that accommodates everyone without discrimination.

They expressed their gratitude to him for the good things he has done for them, and how he has impacted their lives positively in the service, adding that he was assessable to all like a father, and they will miss him greatly.

They prayed for him, and wish him well in all his future endeavors, even as they maintained that they will be calling on him for advice when the need arises, and on behalf of the staffs, Mrs. Josephine J. Egboge, an Assist PRO gave a toast for long life, good health and greater achievements for her boss.

In his remark, Mr. Epue expressed his profound gratitude to the staffs for celebrating him and urged them to be conscious of the fact that there is no time in the service, adding that retirement comes earlier than expected, so they should prepare their mind for it.

He further asked for forgiveness from anyone of them he most have offended in anyway in the cause of carrying out his duties, and urged his subordinates to live amicably, working together as one.

The high point of the event was the presentation of gift to Mr. Epue, for his selfless commitment to service, and vote of thanks by an Assist PRO, Mrs. Kessiena Egajivwie, who expressed her gratitude to God for the memorable time she spent with her boss, she thanked him for all his fatherly care and love showed to her all through their stay together in the service.
