Students Get Scholarship Awards from Monday Onyeme

KWALE/Nigeria: Some students of Ndokwa Nation had formally been offered scholarship by the Monday Onyeme Foundation.

The student who numbered about 60, were among those that attempted the aptitude test which took place on the 20th December 2018, at Onicha-Ukwani Mixed Secondary School with 143 students from different institution.

The Executive Chairman Delta State Board Of Internal Revenue Chief Sir Monday Onyeme for the love of academics and support to his community, at the end of the test written announced to the student that for every successful candidate which includes six (6) Male and six(6) Female from the Five(5) communities in Onicha-Ukwanni will be receiving the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira (100,000) each additional sums for the overall best.

Sir Onyeme in his address to the student said the position he occupies today as the Executive Chairman DBIR was as a result of his known academic success, if he hadn’t made it academically H.E Sen.Dr Okowa would have not entrusted to him the office so he calls out to the student not to relent but strive very hard and become academically sound as positions in the future will be occupied by them.

Chief Onyeme took the opportunity to thank Sen Dr Okowa for the things he has being doing ; the Road constructions, School Renovations Job Creations etc as he knows that the past  three (3) and half years has been with wonderful testimonies and he believes the next  four(4)years if re-elected will do better things. Sir Monday encouraged everyone to come out em-masse with their voters card to vote for all PDP flag bearer.

The students, their parents and the entire community of Onicha-Ukwanni thanked Chief Sir Monday Onyeme for keeping to his words and calls out to other great Sons of the soil in good offices and have a heart of a lion to emulate the awesome footsteps of Chief Onyeme.
