Delta Political Vanguard Members Called to Carry Out Aggressive Support for Okowa
OBIARUKU/Nigeria: A call have been made for an aggressive door to door mobilization for the reelection bid of the Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa by the members of the Delta Political Vanguard, DPV a political pressure group in the state.
The call was made recently, when the leaders of the group in Ndokwa nation, met in Umutu, Ukwuani Local Government Area, to prepare for the hosting of the group mega rally that is holding in June 2, 2018 in Kwale.
Speaking during the meeting the Executive Director Social Services Development, Delta Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor, the Commissioner for Land and Survey, Mr. Chika Ossai, and the Chairman of DPV, Ndokwa nation, Mr Ken Nwaomucha called on members and the entire PDP faithful in the state to continue to give their supports to the activities of the governor.
They urged members of the group to always sell the infrastructural and socio economic programmes of the government to the people of the state, as this will place the party in a better position to win the 2019 election in the state, especially as it had proved that the governor is a detribalised Deltan who has the heart to see the even development of the state.
They noted that the meeting was to brainstorm on the planned mega rally for the second term bid of the governor, called on the PDP faithful in the area to support the body to achieve a successful mega rally.
