Despite Appeal Courts Ruling, Markafi is our Recognized Chairman-Delta PDP Chair
Warri: The Delta State wing of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has stated that despite an Appeal Court ruling which confirmed Sheriff as national chairman, it will never work with him. 
Speaking at the weekend during the Delta South Senatorial district’s meeting of the party hosted by immediate past governor of the state, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, the chairman of the party in the state Mr. Kingsley Esiso, said: “The Appeal Court decided that Sheriff is chairman but in the PDP family we recognize Markafi as our chairman.
The Delta PDP only recognizes only one Sheriff that is the one representing Okpe in the Delta State house of assembly.”
Esiso went further to state that the PDP will take advantage of the poor performance of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and win the presidential election in 2019.
The meeting also had in attendance Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and several legislators from the national and state assemblies.
