ABUJA/Nigeria: For his uncanny ability to stabilize and lead a rancour-free Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) for two years running, President of the guild, Mr. Ejezie Emeka Rollas has bagged the 2019 National Peace Award of ‘The Most Peaceful Actor’ in Nigeria.
The prestigious award which held last weekend at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja also had other distinguished recipients like former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan; former Head of State, General Abdusalami Abubarkar; Emir of Kano, HRH Sanusi Lamido; Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; Taminu Turaki (SAN); Hon. Ned Nwoko; Sen. Dino Melaye; Regina Daniels; Pet Edochie; Richard Mofe-Damijo; Prophet Emmanuel Omale; Joke Silva; Ngozi Ezeonu; Ebele Okaro; Ejiro Okurame, among others.
The National Peace Awards according to the convener, Dr. Suleiman Adejo is an annual award organized by the Messengers of Peace Agency and dedicated to the recognition of persons and institutions that have remained instrumental to Peace and development in Nigeria.
