ASABA/Nigeria: As the Nigerian sports industry prepares to hold the 2022 National Sports Festival, one of the fastest growing Banks in the country, Premium Trust Bank has given it’s full backing to this year’s event which will hosted in Asaba ,by the Delta State Government.
The Managing Director of the Bank, , Mr Emmanuel Emefienim made this known in Asaba, when it announced their position as the official Banker for the festival, at the Government House in Asaba at the unveiling of the Mascot for the festival.
According to the managing Director, the bank, contributing to the festival, holding between November 2 and 15, 2022, is part of it’s Corporate Social Responsibility to boost social and economic development of the area they are operating.
This years National Sports Festival, NSF will be the first to be hosted in Delta State since its inception, in 1973.
Commenting on the development, The Managing Director of PremiumTrust Bank, Mr Emmanuel Emefienim reiterated the Bank’s commitment to growth, impacting lives and communities. He also highlighted that as the official Banker to the National Sports Festival, Delta 2022, the bank aims to contribute to the development of sports in Nigeria and foster unity in our diversity as a nation.
“In partnership with the National Sports Festival, Premium Trust Bank is committed to providing the needed platform to help athletes grow and excel in their chosen fields consistent with our tag line – “Together for Growth” .
He encouraged the youths to take advantage of the platform provided by this Sports Festival in their pursuit of excellence both within the country and at the international stage in sports.
Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor of Delta State in his words described The National Sports Festival as Nigeria’s version of the Olympic Games and declared that Delta State will make it an unforgettable experience for everyone.
Amongst those who were at the unvailing is the Minister of Youths and Sports, Mr Sunday Dare.
