Nnamdi Kanu Wont Be Abandoned –South-East Governors

ABAKALIKI/Nigeria: The Chairman of the SouthEast Governor’s forum anf Governor of Ebonyi State has declared that they wont abandon the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nanamdi Kanu, stressing that although IPOB and its activities have been proscribed, Kanu and his team needs to be rebranded before they van be dialogue with.

Speaking with Sun, Umahi said that they will continue to appeal to the agitators on the need for a one and united Nogeria. He said “our situatin is different from Boko Haram, but if anybody believes we will abandon those boys, it is not true. We will be appealing top them to come back, let us sit down and discuss. Kanu somehow raised awareness on this restructuring issue. We must give it to him. We are not going to throw him away; we will still find a way; we will be appealing to the Federal Government for forgiveness….”
