Dame Dr Esther Kelicha Uduehi, has written the people of Ndokwa nation of her intention to run for the office of the governor in 2015 election. In a letter addressed to the presidents and members of all Ndokwa Associations and unions she stated her intention to run for the office of the governor if her party, which is the PDP, gives her the slot come 2015.
The full letter reads, To Presidents and Members, All Ndokwa Associations and Unions.
Dear Compatriots
I send you greetings of the Season and pray that the blessings of our risen lord be upon you and your families.
Let me here salute the patriotism of many of you who over the years have continued to agitate for the recognition and empowerment of Ndokwa Nation and People. Certainly no one can do for us what we can do for ourselves! This is why in the race towards the 2015 elections, we are advocating for the consideration of an Ndokwa son or daughter as Governor of Delta State. It is for this reason also that I am offering myself by the grace of God to contest the gubernatorial elections for the governorship of Delta State in 2015, if my party gives me the opportunity at the primaries.
At this stage, I am asking for your sincere support in prayers as the events unfold. Thank you and remain committed to this cause.
Sincerely yours in the service of our people, State and Nation.
Dr Uduehi was a retired civil servant, and a one time Senior adviser to the President on Legislative matters.
