PDP Candidates Gets Endorsement from Ndokwa Community

KWALE/Nigeria: The Obodugwa Community in Ndokwa West Local Government has endorsed the all the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.

The endorsement was the outcome of a stakeholders meeting of Obodugwa Ogume Community recently comprising the leaders of all age grade in the community and all groups and association with a vow that all the community members should put away personal interest to embrace the endorsement.

The Leader of Obodugwa Community Voice, Comrade Chijioke Linus Oju, while explaining the outcome of the meeting, appreciated the representative of all the age grades, groups and association for their commitment towards the community agenda.

According to Comrade Uju, the community thoroughly considered all the PDP candidates from the presidential to house of assembly and came to the conclusion that the community’s interest would be best safeguarded when the PDP candidates were voted into power.

“The community decided to put heads together to look into the Delta North Agenda as the community is part of Anioma,” Comrade Uju said, adding “The Okowa administration has contributed to the community development in bringing secondary school to Obodugwa Ogume and our students no longer trek to other communities for Study.”

Comrade Uju stated that the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was chosen by the community because the present leadership at the federal level had failed the entire nation.

For the senate, he said that the entire Delta North and Ndokwa Nation had endorsed Senator Peter Nwoboshi due to his good performance in the red chamber and the proposed polytechnic for Ndokwaland before the senate, saying that the project would be awarded in the 9th assembly.

He said that the choice of Rt Hon. Ossai Nicholas Ossai was to enable him continue from where he stopped, to rise to a ranking officer, saying it would enhanced rapid development in the Ndokwa Federal Constituency, including the completion of the light project in Obodugwa-Ogume Community.

Comrade Uju revealed that Mr Charles Emetulu was endorsed to keep faith with what he described as the G3 Agenda having emerged through a democratically conducted process.

Also speaking, the Community Voice Taskforce Chairman, Comrade Augustine Agam, while moving the motion for the endorsement of the PDP candidates from the presidential to house of assembly levels, appreciated the Community Voice President, Comrade Oju for piloting the affairs of the community creditably.

The Community Voice Woman Leader, Chief Mrs Caroline Ojugbeli who seconded the motion, emphasized the need for the reelection of Governor Okowa for him to do more in the community.
