ASABA/Nigeria: Renowned Delta State-born politician, Dr. (Pharm.) Nelson Ejakpovi has said Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is an enigma whose midas touch is transformatory.
Dr. Ejakpovi in a chat with Journalists shortly after the 60th birthday thanksgiving service of Governor Okowa on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Government House Chapel, Asaba, stated, “our Governor is an enigma at 60; what he is doing can only be made possible by our Lord Jesus Christ; he is a man with the transformatory midas touch.”
“Today, we came to thank God for what He is using our Governor, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa to do in our state; we are also celebrating the governor because, he has touched a lot of lives before he became Governor and touched more lives and is doing more as Governor,” Dr Ejakpovi said, adding, “we have to thank God for giving us a peaceful state through Governor Okowa. ”
He continued, “with God using our Governor, Dr Okowa, we can see transformation in every sector and I can confidently tell you that with his unwavering belief in God, the next four years will be the turning point in our state as we will witness a stronger Delta. ”
Dr. Ejakpovi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who is the immediate past Chairman of the Governing Council, Delta State School of Health Technology, Ofuoma congratulated Governor Okowa on his 60th bithday, asserting, “at 60 years, our Governor has achieved a lot for humanity and when you look at what he is doing as a child of God who is in the political environment, his credibility, simplicity and accountability, you can be confident that our nation Nigeria has an asset in Governor Okowa and he will continue to serve humanity beyond our state and we give God thanks for protecting him, giving him the wisdom and the means to do what he is doing to positively impact on the lives of the people.”
“My people, let us congratulate our Governor, let us thank God for his life and let us pray to God to continue to direct his steps in Jesus name, amen,” Dr Ejakpovi stated.
