Delta Community Commends Sen Okowa for Completion of Phase 1 Road

OBIARUKU/Nigeria: Umuebu community in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State has appealed to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa led administration to link the community as the phase one of the roads had elapsed barely one year now.

A cross section of respondents who spoke on the condition of anonymity  said that  Senator  Ifeanyi Okowa   had prior to his re-election,  promised to commence the phase two of the road which would network the community,  decried the delay in resuming work on the road.

While commending the Governor for the completion of the phase I of the road, the respondents strongly stated that without the delivery of the phase two of the road construction, the people in area would not feel much, the impact of the road, even as they said that yet to be attended parts of the road was in a sorry condition.

They maintained that the community had been supportive of the Okowa administration and would continue to do so, adding that the state government had been carrying out several people oriented policies and programmes.

The respondents used the opportunity to congratulate the Governor on his Appeal Court election victory and described it as an act of God and will of Deltans and urged the Governor to sustain the tempo of development in the state.
