The Chairman Ukwuani LGA, the V. Chairman and the Newly Sworn-in Councilors of Ukwuani LGA

The vice Chairman and the newly elected Councilors in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State have been sworn-in by the Local Government Executive Chairman, Barrister Benedicta Ndudi Osakunih-Izuegbu.
Performing the swearing-in ceremony in the presence of a capacity crowd of people who came from all walks by life to witness the ceremony, the Chairman used the opportunity to thank the entire people of Ukwuani Local Government for voting for PDP.
Osakunih-Izuegbu said that “no matter how popular a person was, he/she was only an individual and that on her own, I could have not been able to do nothing,
“So I thank all of you irrespective of political classes, because I know certainly that you have all joined hands in voting PDP”
The Council Chairman who was full of appreciation to the people for doing PDP proud, further used the opportunity to appeal to them to cooperate with her administration, stressing that together we will move the local government forward,
She promised to operate an open door policy and ready to welcome a constructive criticism that would help to transform the local government into an enviable position.
The local government boss also used the medium to advised those that loss their position to accept it in good faith, noting that God’s time is the best.
While assuring of her willingness to carry everybody along Osakuneh-Izuegbu also challenged the councilors for unity, understanding and cooperation, pointing out that united we stand.
Responding on behalf of the Councilors, the Councilor representing ward 7, (Ezhionum) Mr. Atuma Emmanuel thanked the Chairman for the successful swearing-in and promised to partner with her to enable the two organs build a better Ukwuani Local Government Area.
