Delta 2015 Governorship Poll: 26 on the Race, as PDP Clears Ujomor Abanum, Olejeme and few others.

Ogbuefi Ndidi Ujomor-Abanum has been cleared by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) screening panel in Port Harcourt, this giving her a clean bill to contest the gubernatorial primary of the party in Delta State,.
Ujomor-Abanum was one of the few aspirants cleared from Delta State on the first day of the exercise, among the 26 aspirants; others cleared were Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, Hon Ndudi Elumelu, Chief Orubebe.
The screening exercises which ended at about 9 pm in the first day, saw the screening of the aspirants from Akwa Ibom state, after aspirants were asked to pay the sum of N2000,000.00 to the PDP Zonal office before they can be cleared.
Meanwhile, Ujomor-Abanum while speaking to newsmen after going through the screening committee sitting said that he will now focus on the primary.

According to her, her focus if elected is to see to the development of the state, where the state will generate revenue internally without going to the federal Government for monthly allocation.
As she said “the people of Delta should expect the best from my government as all LGA will have one industry established to employ Deltans.

Other aspirants at the screening centre were, Rt Hon Victor Ochei, Chief Paul Opone, Chief Uwaka, Chief Gabriel Oyibode, Chief David Edevie, Chief Godwill Obielum, Mrs Esther Uduehi, Mr Charles Emetulu and many others.
