Ochor @ Easter Tells Constituents to Be Hopeful

ASABA/Nigeria: As Christians mark the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ at Easter, the people of Ukwuani State constituency had been told to be hopeful for a better tomorrow, by the member representing the area in Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor.

Hon Ochor who stated this in his Easter message signed by his Press Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli, to the people of the area, said the event of 2020 that marred the celebration is gradually easing, and this should give the people hope that there is better tomorrow, in line with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who died for mankind to be saved.

He admonished them to continue to pray for the growth, peace and unity of the Local Government Area, irrespective of political affiliation, as it’s only a united and peaceful Local Government Area that can attract infrastructure that will lift the area to an enviable area.

“As we celebrate another Easter, as one family and people of one body, I urge you to continue to be hopeful for a better Ukwuani Local Government. Last year, we could not celebrate because we all were faced with the Coronavirus pandemic. We were highly restricted, but thank God this pandemic is easing.”

“This is the reason we should continue to be hopeful. The death and resurrection had taught us to be hopeful, as he died at the cross for us, and this has given mankind that spirit of hope. We have to be part of that hope.” He stated.

The lawmaker further stated that they should not relent from praying the God’s protection especially as the issue of insecurity in the country is on the rise daily, urging them to always pray for the leaders, whom they had given the mantle of leadership.
