ASABA/Nigeria: The Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Christopher Ochor Ochor, has expressed satisfaction with the just concluded Meeting of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, held in Asaba between June 25th to June 27th, 2021.
Rt. Hon Ochor Ochor, who was the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, LOC, stated this while speaking to some group of journalist at the side of the event, stated that one of the criteria to score the success of any event is the reception of the guests, and their reactions to their new environment.
He stated that all arrangement for the meeting as planned by the committee, were met, including the visit to the Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on the day of arrival, visit to key projects constructed by the state government.
He also, gave and praised the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, the speaker, and all the members of the committee, whom he said all worked to achieve the success of the meeting, which was collection of 36 speakers of the State Legislature.
