The Coalition for Ndokwa Peace Ambassador (CONPA) has canvassed for peace amongst Ndokwa people, comprising Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West and Ukwuani LGAs, when they took a peace work to the three LGA’s.
In an interview, the president of the group, Mr Alex Udoh noted that the group decided to key into the peace agenda of Governor Okowa because there has been so much misunderstanding, ignorance, fear and intolerance amongst the youths. Udoh said that the group as a social change agent would constantly engage Ndokwa youths in peace rallies, scholarship, empowerment and free guardian and counselling programme to rechannel their energies in profitable ventures. He noted that the group decided to partner government because without peace in any community, there will be no development as well as prosperity. 
In Umutu, Ukwuani LGA, where the rally started, Chief Andrew Okonye, the Onotu-uku of Umutu, hailed the group as well as governor Okowa for their peace and prosperity initiatives and declared that without peace in any community no meaningful progress can be achieved. 
In the same vein, a youth member, Mr Japhet Omoshe noted that to actualise the most needed peace, government should empower the youths, create job opportunities and organise forum where all Ndokwa youths would discuss on importance of peace. 
In Obiaruku, headquarter of Ukwuani LGA, Comrade Allswell Enuenweayoi who spoke on behalf of HRH Rhonick Oliseyenum the Okpala-uku of Umusume, commended the group for the peace rally and urged that it be sustained. All speaking, Mr Chuks Edengwu who spoke on behalf of Okpala-uku general of Obiaruku,HRH Agagaraga, said as peace loving community, the community support the campaign and appealed to the government to provide job opportunities for the teeming youths as to curb the growing interest of youths in cultism activities.
The rally took the members round the three LGA and to 15 communities, which included Umutu, Obiaruku, Amai, Abbi, Ogume, Kwale, Asahaka, Ibrede, Aboh among others.
