The Presiding Bishop of Christ Worshipers Church, Obiaruku, Bishop Greatman Nmalagu has been appointed the Executive Special Adviser (ESA) on Religious matters to the Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa.

The appointment which was made on Monday, 4 July, 2015 places the Bishop in a position of helping the government of Delta State to effectively carry all religious group in the state and for them to leave in harmony.
It is on record that the bishop was one of the major supporters to the governor throughout the race to the state house. He is also the national patron, of the Nigerian National Union of Unemployed Graduates, (NNUUG), and through him the first unemployed graduates conference was organised recently in Delta state.
