The Chairman Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta state, Hon. Chuks Oseme has applauded President Mohammadu Buhari on the appointment of Dr. Ibe Kachwuku as the Group Managing Director, GMD, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.
In a press statement issued by his Media Assistance Nwanazia Matthew, at Issele-uku the council headquarters, the council boss expressed joy over the appointment of Dr. Ibe Emmanuel Kachikwu.
Oseme noted that the appointment was a further confirmation that Aniocha North is endowed with a lot of human resources
“I feel very proud that one of our own, the true son of Aniocha North has been elevated to such amiable office. There is no places Aniocha North indigene has got to without making a great impact or success, Dr. Kachikwu is a further confirmation of endowment resources in the area”
He noted that the council area has produced great resource people who have served Nigeria greatly in all sphere of life,
Oseme described Dr. Kachikwu as an excellent man whose records has showed in all his endeavor
While the council chair was in optimistic that Dr. Ibe Kachikwu is going to be one of the best Group Managing Director that NNPC will ever produce, he enjoined all Nigerians to give him the needed support.
Until his appointment, Dr. Kachikwu, a First Class Graduate of Law from UNN, was the Executive Vice Chairman/General Counsel, ExxonMobil Africa, hail from Onicha-Ugbo in Aniocha North LGA of Delta state.
