ASABA/Nigeria: Mrs. Lyna Ocholor, the Clerk of Delta State House of Assembly, has expressed her commitment to excellence as she assumes her role as the Principal Secretary to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
She stated this during a thanksgiving service at Christ Embassy Summit Church in Asaba, on Sunday, June 4, 2023, emphasising the need to return all glory to God in preparation for her new responsibilities.
She acknowledged the grace of God upon her life and expressed gratitude to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for finding her worthy to be an integral part of the administration.
Mrs. Ocholor promised to bring her wealth of experience to bear in the governance of the state and called for maximum support from all ethnic nationalities of the state.
The appointment of Mrs. Ocholor was well-deserved and dignitaries from all walks of life celebrated with her at a reception held in her honor in Asaba.
The Deputy Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, Oboro Preyor, the Pere of Seimbiri Kingdom, King Charles Ayemi-Botu, and Deacon Harrison Ocholor expressed their support for Mrs. Lyna Ocholor’s appointment as the Principal Secretary to the Governor of Delta State.
They believe that she will contribute greatly to the new government of Delta State and prayed for her success in this new role.
During a sermon, Pastor Prosper Obioma reminded Christians that they have the power of God within them to overcome challenges.
A reception was held in Mrs. Ocholor’s honor, which was attended by dignitaries from various fields who enjoyed the musical entertainment. Mrs. Ocholor expressed her gratitude to all for celebrating with her.
