The Ndokwa Leaders Forum on the 14/12/2013 held her 4th General Meeting at its Secretariat, Isumpe Quarters, Utagba-Uno, Delta State.
The meeting was well attended, attendees cutting across political divides and social strata.
At the end of the meeting, the following goals were achieved:
1 Constitution Committee was set up, whose members are:
(a) Dr. Kingsley Nwachukwu
(b) Barr. Austin Ogbolu
(c) Chief P.C. Okpor
(d) Hon. (Chief) Aneke Ifemeni
(e) Barr. Ifeanyichukwu S. Ekeruche
2 Constitution of members of Board of Trustees, whose members are:
(a) Hon. (Barr) V.O. Mbanugo
(b) Hon (Chief) Mercy Ashibogu
(c) Prof (Chief) Steve Okocha
(d) Chief Joseph Olise
(e) Chief P.C. Okpor
(f) Chief (Barr) Sam Osasa
(g) Mr Chuks Ochonogor
The issue of relationship between Ndokwa National Union (NNU) and Ndokwa Leaders Forum was extensively discussed and the Forum’s position is as follows:
a Ndokwa National Union (NNU) is the apex body of all Associations in Ndokwa
b Ndokwa Leaders Forum is a political pressure Association while Ndokwa National Union is a social/cultural Association
c Both Associations including any and or all other Associations shall work for the Unity and upliftment of Ndokwa Nation, Ndokwa Nation’s interest being paramount.
Also in attendance were two Youth bodies who actively participated and shared their experiences, namely; Delta North Youth Movement, Ndokwa Chapter led by Comrade George Okoh and Ndokwa Youth Development Association led by Comrade Sylvester Edeme. They pledged their support to Ndokwa Leaders Forum.
The President, Rear Admiral M.C.O. Onah enjoined all to work for the betterment of Ndokwa Nation.
