ABUJA/Nigeria: Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, Youth President and National Chairman of the National Youth Alliance (NYA), has returned to Nigeria following a successful tour of Africa, where he engaged in significant discussions with government officials and youth leaders across the continent.
According to Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Youth President, Ambassador Abbas arrived in Lagos on Saturday afternoon. He was greeted enthusiastically by a group of young Nigerians, with whom he spent time sharing inspiring words and listening to their concerns.
After his arrival in Lagos, Abbas traveled to Kano to celebrate Sallah with his family and well-wishers. In Kano, he was warmly welcomed by a delegation led by Engr. Kabiru Ahmad Kwalli, Kano State Chairman of NYA. The delegation included various youth leaders and NYA members eager to hear about Abbas’s experiences and insights from his African engagements.
On Sunday, Ambassador Abbas, accompanied by the Kano State Chairman of NYA, the NYA Chairman of Dawakin Kudu LGA, Hon. Muhammad Sani Dawaki, and several other young Nigerians, including members of the Youth President Media Vanguard, attended the Eid Prayer at Ammar Bin Yasser Mosque. Following the prayer, they visited Dawakin Kudu General Hospital, where Abbas interacted with patients and staff, and donated cash and gift items to support their well-being.
Abbas’s return is expected to bring fresh momentum to the NYA’s initiatives, inspiring young Nigerians to participate in nation-building and development. His dedication to youth empowerment and Pan-African cooperation has solidified his position as a leading voice for young people in Nigeria and beyond. The National Youth Alliance is poised to continue driving positive change, empowering Nigerian youth to shape their future and contribute to a brighter Africa.
