ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the 2022/2023 financial assistance for Delta State indigenes attending the seven Nigerian Law Schools across the country. This approval follows closely on the heels of the recent bursary award granted to over 30,000 students of Delta State origin in tertiary institutions nationwide.
The Governor’s decision was conveyed in a statement by the Executive Secretary of the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, Dr. Godfrey Enita, released in Asaba on Friday.
“It is our pleasure to announce to the general public, particularly Deltans, that His Excellency, Governor Sheriff F. Oborevwori, has graciously approved the 2022/2023 Financial Assistance to Delta State indigenes in the seven Nigerian Law Schools across the country,” Enita said.
He added that this approval aligns with Governor Oborevwori’s MORE agenda, which aims to advance human and infrastructural development in the state.
“Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated his commitment to delivering quality governance to Deltans by providing human capital development that directly impacts their lives. The Governor is working, and Deltans are happy,” Enita concluded.
