ABUJA/Nigeria: The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and the National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Bashiru, on Wednesday, received Hon. Dr. Ossai Nicholas Ossai at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja following his recent defection to the party in Delta State.
During the visit, Ossai pledged his commitment to the APC, declaring himself a “foot soldier” ready to lead the charge in dismantling the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State. He assured the party’s leadership that he and other Delta APC leaders would work in unity to secure victory at all levels in the 2027 elections.
Responding on behalf of the party, Senator Bashiru, who later stood in for Ganduje, showered praises on Ossai and expressed confidence in his ability to strengthen the APC’s foothold in Delta. He formally entrusted him with the mandate to weaken the PDP’s grip on the state and assured him of the party leadership’s full support.
