ASABA/ Nigeria: Chairman of Delta Trust Mortgage Bank Limited, Hon. Jude Omena Ogbimi, has joined other eminent Nigerians in celebrating Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa as he marks his 66th birthday, describing him as “a financial reformer and exemplary public servant.”
In a statement issued in Asaba, Ogbimi applauded the former governor for entrenching a culture of fiscal responsibility and institution-building during his eight-year administration, noting that many of the reforms put in place have continued to bear fruit under the current dispensation.
“Dr. Okowa’s leadership was defined by clarity of purpose and financial prudence,” Ogbimi stated. “His belief in sustainable governance laid a solid foundation for institutions like the Delta Trust Mortgage Bank to thrive and support state development efforts.”
Ogbimi recalled the synergy between Okowa’s administration and key financial institutions which, he said, boosted housing finance, mortgage access, and investment in local infrastructure.
