ASABA/Nigeria: The umbrella body of Ndokwa youths, Ikolobie Ndokwa, has passed a vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, his Deputy Sir Monday Onyeme, and the member representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi.
The endorsement, which came during an enlarged meeting of the group in Umu-Uno Ossissa, Ndokwa East Local Government Area, was moved by the President-General of Ikolobie Ndokwa, Comrade Fidelis Azaka, and seconded by a member of the Board of Trustees, Comrade Henry Emeli. The motion was later expanded to include other prominent Ndokwa leaders such as Chief Godswill Obielum and Sir Fidelis Okenmor Tilije, among others.
The youths, drawn from Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, and Ukwuani LGAs, said their decision was based on the “excellent leadership qualities” demonstrated by President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori, Deputy Governor Onyeme, and Hon. Ezechi. They expressed confidence that the leaders deserved continued support going into the 2027 elections.
In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Ezechi, who doubles as Chairman of the group’s Board of Trustees, expressed gratitude to Ndokwa youths for their peaceful and supportive stance, assuring them of brighter prospects for the Ndokwa nation.
He commended Governor Oborevwori for ensuring an equitable spread of projects across Delta State, noting that the Ndokwa nation has been a direct beneficiary. He further described his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, as “a blessing to Ndokwa and Delta North,” praising his philanthropic impact through years of community service and foundation work.
Ezechi urged the youths to remain steadfast in their support for both the governor and his deputy.
Other speakers, including Dr. Kingsley Ashibogwu, Chief Chris Oputa, and Ndokwa East APC Youth Leader, Comrade Mike Eso Dialor, echoed their support for the motion, pledging continued loyalty to President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori’s administrations.
