ASABA/Nigeria: As Delta State marks its 34th anniversary of creation, the member representing Oshimili South Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Bridget Anyafulu, has congratulated the government and people of the state, describing the journey so far as a testament to visionary leadership, resilience, and divine grace.
In her goodwill message, Anyafulu said the anniversary was not only a time for celebration but also a moment for reflection on the progress made and the challenges ahead. She noted that Deltans have every reason to be grateful to God for His mercies and blessings, which she said had sustained the state since its creation in 1991.
“It has been a remarkable story of success, visionary leadership, and resilience, and we have every cause to be grateful to God Almighty for His mercies, grace and blessings upon our state,” she said.
The lawmaker prayed for continued peace and stability in the state, urging all citizens to remain united and supportive of the government’s efforts to deliver good governance. She expressed optimism that Delta, under the current leadership, would continue to thrive in unity and prosperity.
“As we celebrate this important milestone, I pray that Almighty God will continue to protect Delta State and to guide the state along the path of good governance, unity, peace, stability, and prosperity,” Anyafulu added.
She reaffirmed her commitment to working with her colleagues in the Delta State House of Assembly to make laws and policies that will further strengthen development, peace, and inclusiveness in the state.
