
ASABA/Nigeria: The immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, has congratulated Nigerians, particularly the Muslim faithful, on the celebration of Eid-ul-Mawlid, which marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
In a goodwill message issued on Friday, September 5, 2025, Elumelu called on Nigerians to deepen their faith in God’s divine intervention and allow their lives to reflect the virtues of patience, humility, and selflessness, with a constant commitment to the good of humanity.
The former Minority Leader also commended the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, for his strides in delivering good governance, stressing that Nigerian leaders must always put the wellbeing of citizens at the center of their responsibilities.
Speaking on behalf of his family and political associates, Elumelu wished Muslims a joyous Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration, praying that the blessings of the occasion would bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to their lives.
