UMUSETI/Nigeria: The Umuseti community of Utagba Uno has congratulated Pastor Joe Ebinum, Founder of Bellarks Polytechnic, Kwale, and the management of the institution for the remarkable progress recorded since its establishment in 2019.

Pastor Ebinum, a proud son of Umuseti and a distinguished Chartered Accountant, founded the polytechnic with a vision to bridge the institutional gap in Ukwuaniland by bringing higher education closer to the people. In just six years, Bellarks Polytechnic has emerged as a centre of excellence, equipping young people with practical skills for the future of work and creating opportunities that transcend borders.

Accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), the institution currently runs National Diploma programmes in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Business Administration, and Statistics. With modern laboratories, state-of-the-art facilities, and a strong emphasis on industry-driven training, the polytechnic has raised the standard of technical education in the region.

The recent approval for Higher National Diploma programmes marks another milestone in the school’s journey, positioning it as a key contributor to Nigeria’s human capital development. This achievement, the community noted, underscores the institution’s role in producing graduates who are academically grounded, skilled, and globally competitive.

In a statement signed by Chuks Ododo on behalf of the Umu Ezeti Town Hall Platform, the community commended Pastor Ebinum for his vision and sacrifice, describing him as a leader whose commitment has brought pride to the people of Umuseti.

“We salute the management, staff, and students of Bellarks Polytechnic for their dedication to excellence and for placing Ukwuaniland firmly on Nigeria’s educational map,” the statement read. “As a community, we reaffirm our support for this laudable initiative and remain confident that Bellarks Polytechnic will continue to grow in impact and reputation as one of the foremost polytechnics in the country.”

The community further stressed that the success of Bellarks Polytechnic is a collective pride and a beacon of hope for future generations, adding that Pastor Ebinum’s legacy would remain a blessing to the land.
