ASABA/Nigeria: Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District, has declared that the people of Delta North, popularly known as Anioma, are solidly behind Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and will give him total support in the 2027 gubernatorial election.

The lawmaker made the declaration on Sunday at a crucial stakeholders’ meeting of the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held at the Government House, Asaba.

Speaking to a cheering crowd of political leaders and party faithful, Senator Nwoko affirmed that the entire Delta North was united in its decision to back Governor Oborevwori for a second term, describing him as the sole candidate of the people.

He attributed the widespread support to the governor’s commitment to equity and his impactful implementation of the M.O.R.E. Agenda, which he said has significantly advanced infrastructure and human capital development across the state.

According to Nwoko, Oborevwori’s development drive aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, making his re-election a shared vision for progress.

“Delta North Senatorial District as a whole will support Governor Sheriff Oborevwori 100 percent. Let me assure you that he has the total backing of our politicians and the good people of Delta North in 2027. He has our goodwill and our trust,” Senator Nwoko stated.

He added that the people of Delta North are equally committed to the administration of President Bola Tinubu and will work towards his re-election in 2027, stressing that the district remains united for the success of the APC at both state and federal levels.

Senator Nwoko also described the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, as the “National Leader” of the party among stakeholders, a remark that drew applause from attendees.

The Delta APC stakeholders’ meeting was attended by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, the state APC Chairman Elder Omeni Sobotie, serving and former members of the National Assembly, and several party stalwarts from across the state.
