Obi-Nzete to Chair 2025 Adege Day as Umusadege Community Pushes Peace, Development

KWALE/Nigeria: The Chairman of Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Goddey Obi‑Nzete, has been named Chairman of the 2025 Adege Day celebration of Umusadege, Utaga-Uno, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State.

The announcement was made by the Onotu-Uku of Umusadege, Isaac Ozonuwe, on behalf of the Inotu-in-Council, as he invited sons and daughters of Umusadege at home and in the diaspora, as well as members of the general public, to be part of the annual cultural celebration.

The 2025 Adege Day is themed “Consolidating Peace and Charting New Development,” a reflection of the community’s renewed commitment to unity, peaceful coexistence and the pursuit of fresh development initiatives aimed at improving the socio-economic wellbeing of the people.

The celebration is scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at noon, at Adege Primary School, Ndemili, in Ndokwa West Local Government Area.

Adege Day is an annual gathering that brings together community leaders, stakeholders and indigenes to celebrate Umusadege’s cultural heritage, assess communal progress and deliberate on strategies for sustainable development.

Organisers said the 2025 edition would feature colourful cultural displays, goodwill messages and interactive sessions focused on deepening peace and accelerating development across the community.
