ABUJA/Nigeria: Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has unveiled a new education-focused partnership with Scholara, an artificial intelligence–powered learning platform, aimed at expanding access to modern, technology-driven education for students across the district.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, the senator said the initiative was designed to strengthen academic performance and better prepare students for future opportunities through personalised digital learning support.
“I am pleased to announce a partnership with Scholara to expand access to AI-powered learning for students across the Delta Central Senatorial District,” Dafinone said, describing the platform as an innovative tool that enhances how students learn, revise and prepare for examinations.
He explained that Scholara offers personalised academic support that enables learners to study more effectively, adding that the programme aligns with his broader commitment to education as the bedrock of sustainable development. “A strong society is built on an educated and empowered people,” he said. “This partnership reflects our resolve to invest in the academic growth of our young people.”
Under the scheme, the AI-powered platform will be introduced in public secondary schools across Delta Central, complementing the senator’s earlier investments in modern information and communication technology infrastructure. The intervention, he noted, would ensure that students gain access to digital tools that support continuous learning, revision and examination preparation.
The programme also covers tertiary-level students from the district, who can benefit by registering on the Scholara platform and verifying their government-issued or school identification, as part of efforts to broaden digital learning opportunities for youths in Delta Central.
