ASABA/Nigeria: Chairman of Delta Mortgage Trust Bank Limited, Hon. Jude Ogbimi, has commended Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for clinching the 2025 Governor of the Year awards conferred separately by Leadership Newspapers and New Telegraph Newspapers, saying the honours underscore the Governor’s strategic economic vision.

Hon. Ogbimi described the awards as a reflection of prudent fiscal management, infrastructure expansion and economic reforms that have strengthened investor confidence and stimulated growth across key sectors of the state’s economy.

He noted that under Governor Oborevwori’s leadership, Delta State has experienced deliberate policy coordination that connects infrastructure development with financial inclusion, housing expansion and broader wealth creation opportunities for citizens.

“The recognitions are not accidental; they are the outcome of disciplined governance, strategic planning and a clear roadmap for sustainable development. Delta State is witnessing structured progress that will benefit both present and future generations,” Ogbimi stated.

The bank chairman pledged continued institutional support for initiatives that promote housing development and economic empowerment, expressing optimism that the Governor’s leadership would sustain stability, deepen economic reforms and position Delta State as a model of subnational excellence in Nigeria.
