
ABUJA/Nigeria: The Member representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, has joined the global community in celebrating the strength, resilience and invaluable contributions of women and girls to families, communities and society.
Ezechi, in a message marking the International Women’s Day celebration, paid tribute to women for their immense role in sustaining families and driving social and economic development across communities.
The federal lawmaker noted that women remain the backbone of families and critical drivers of progress, stressing that their dedication, leadership and sacrifices continue to shape a more inclusive and progressive society.
According to him, the contributions of women to nation-building and community development cannot be overstated, as their efforts continue to inspire growth, stability and advancement in various spheres of life.
Hon. Ezechi reaffirmed his commitment to promoting the rights, empowerment and advancement of women and girls across the Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency, assuring that more programmes aimed at supporting women would be implemented in the coming months.
He disclosed that his office is already working on additional women-focused empowerment initiatives designed to expand opportunities, enhance economic participation and strengthen the capacity of women in the constituency.
The lawmaker emphasized that empowering women has far-reaching benefits for society, noting that stronger women translate into stronger families and more prosperous communities.
“When women are empowered, families are strengthened, communities prosper and society moves forward,” Ezechi stated.
