ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the Dein of Agbor Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Benjamin Ikenchukwu, Keagborekuzi I, CON, on the occasion of his 49th birthday, describing the revered monarch as an outstanding traditional ruler whose reign has continued to foster peace, unity and sustainable development.
In a statement issued on Monday in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor extolled the monarch’s exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the progress of Agbor Kingdom, noting that his influence and contributions have continued to resonate across Delta State and the nation at large.
Governor Oborevwori said the Dein’s reign has been distinguished by visionary leadership, cultural preservation and an enduring dedication to the welfare of his people. He noted that through wisdom, humility and statesmanship, the royal father has strengthened communal harmony, promoted development and enhanced the prestige of the traditional institution.
According to the Governor, the monarch’s steadfast commitment to preserving the rich cultural heritage of Agbor Kingdom while embracing initiatives that promote peace and socio-economic advancement has earned him widespread admiration and respect beyond the boundaries of his kingdom.
“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Delta State, I warmly felicitate with His Royal Majesty Benjamin Ikenchukwu, Keagborekuzi I, CON, the Dein of Agbor Kingdom, on the joyous occasion of your 49th birth anniversary.
“You have continued to provide purposeful leadership for your people with wisdom, compassion and an unwavering commitment to peace, unity and development. Your exemplary reign has earned you the respect and admiration of your subjects and countless others across the country.
“As you celebrate this milestone, I pray that Almighty God will continue to bless you with sound health, divine wisdom and renewed strength to lead your kingdom to even greater heights. I also look forward to your continued invaluable contributions to the peace, unity and sustainable development of Delta State and Nigeria,” the Governor stated.
Governor Oborevwori wished the royal father many more years of good health, divine grace and fruitful service to humanity, expressing confidence that the monarch would continue to play a pivotal role in advancing peace, strengthening traditional institutions and supporting the development aspirations of Delta State.
