
ASABA/Nigeria: Delta State Commissioner for Special Duties (Government House), Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, has said the leadership and public service record of former Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, continue to influence the state’s development as the former governor marked his 67th birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Osuoza described Okowa as a seasoned administrator and statesman whose years in public office were characterised by purposeful governance, prudent leadership and a commitment to institutional growth. He noted that the former governor’s policies and development initiatives have continued to leave a lasting impact on Delta State.
According to the commissioner, Okowa’s calm disposition, wealth of experience and ability to nurture emerging leaders have distinguished him as one of the country’s respected political figures, adding that his contributions to governance remain relevant to the state’s continued progress.
Osuoza congratulated the former governor on the milestone and prayed for God’s continued blessings, wishing him sound health, renewed strength, wisdom and many more years of fulfilling service to Delta State, Nigeria and humanity.
