ASABA/Nigeria: The member representing Ndokwa West State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Charles Emetulu, has expressed grief over the death of Chief Tony Onah, who reportedly died on Monday, September 28, 2026, after a brief illness.
In a condolence statement, Emetulu described the deceased as a brother, friend and political associate whose contributions to the political and community life of Ndokwa West would be remembered. The statement was issued through Charles Emetulu Media, DTHA.
Emetulu said he was deeply saddened by Onah’s death, describing him as a loyal party member and committed grassroots leader who contributed to the development of the constituency and the activities of his political party.
“Chief Onah was a loyal party man, a committed grassroots leader and a great son of Ndokwa-West whose contributions to our party and constituency will be greatly missed,” Emetulu said.
The lawmaker extended his condolences to Onah’s family, friends, political associates and other members of the community affected by the loss.
He prayed for comfort and strength for the bereaved family and others mourning the deceased, while asking for eternal rest for Onah’s soul.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Ndokwa-West State Constituency, I condole with his family and loved ones. I pray God grants his soul eternal rest and gives us all the strength to bear this painful loss,” he said.
Emetulu concluded his message with a tribute to the deceased: “Rest in Peace, Chief Tony Onah.”
