Ughelli: Afiesere community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State has been boiling for the past few days due to the arrest of one of the sons of the community by army personnel, alleged to be a militant involved in vandalization of oil facilities in the state. 
Facts emerged from the community that the arrested youth is a peace loving person who has always fought against militancy in the area.
According to the source who refused to disclose his name stated that the young man was wrongfully accused and his arrest has thrown the community into confusion.
The source disclosed that somebody in the community has been fingered for the arrest of the young man, adding that both of them have been at war over pipeline surveillance contract.
He explained that the pipeline surveillance contract was first contested by the two of them, but the accused conceded the contract to the person fingered in the arrest, who promised to be paying certain amount to the arrested youth.
But as time progressed, he stopped the payment and when the contract expired, the accused decided to bid for the contract and according to the source was already gaining upper hand as he was strongly supported by a traditional ruler.
He explained further that when the person fingered in the arrest saw that his chance of getting the contract was slim, decided to frame the accused, while disclosing that an emergency meeting of leadership of the community was held and the person fingered in the arrest has been ordered to secure the release of the arrested young man to avert crisis in the community.
Meanwhile, youths close to the arrested young man have vowed to deal decisively with the person fingered in the arrest if he is not released.
