Ochor Hails Ukwuani PDP Returnees

Hon Ochor Chris Ochor the Executive Director Social Services, DESOPADEC, has hailed the recent return of some 600 People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), members who left the party weeks before the last 2015 General Election as a welcome development.
Hon Ochor who spoke to reporters at the end of the party general meeting held recently at Obiaruku, said that the coming back of the members was a welcome development.
According to Hon Ochor, the meeting which was the first to be held after the last election was a successful one seeing the numbers of decampees and party faithful’s who turned up for the meeting.
“Seeing the number of party members who turned out for the meeting tells you that it was a successful one, especially with high number of decampees who returned, and their coming back is a plus for the party”. He said.
On the returnees the Executive Director said that it was a welcome development, and encouraging.
“It was very gratifying, encouraging, gratifying and a welcome development.
According to Ochor their coming back to the party shows that the party has grown in the local government, and with the returnees, the place of the party in the area is no longer in doubt.
