The latest information from Ndokwa East LGA has it that the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and the state party hierarchy led by Chief Edwin Uzor will be meeting today to find a way to resolve the lingering crises between the LGA Chairman, and the Legislative arm.
On Wednesday 19, August 2015, there was a publication on a page of Ukwuani Media Forum, a facebook social media forum, that the LGA Chairman, Mrs Nkechi Chukwurah had been removed by some section of the Councillors who are been pursued by armed bandits, and are now under hiding.
However, this seemed to be incorrect, as Ndokwa Reporters can reliably report that a way of resolving the solution is been considered as a meeting had been scheduled at the government House Asaba, between the Governor and the state party Chairman.
In a telephone interview with one of the Councillors of the LGA, Hon Chukwumah Ben, who is in charge of works committee, said that there is nothing like removal of the LGA Chairman, as the party is looking for a way to resolve the problem, it is only after that meeting that the Councillors will know what next to do.
