OKPANAM/Nigeria: An advocate of Christ, Pastor Emmanuel Asoya, has called on well-meaning individuals in any society to embrace Christianity with all sense of seriousness and desist from acts that could hinder their spiritual breakthrough and peace of mind as well as success in their endeavours.
Pastor Emmanuel Asoya, who said this in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State while speaking with journalists shortly after the burial ceremony of his mother in-law, Late Mrs. Regina Nwanukwe Isitua who passed away at the age of 80 years, stated that the deceased was an uncommon humanitarian.
While describing death as inevitable end to human existence, Pastor Emmanuel Asoya , noted that his mother in-law was very accommodating, peaceful and always cared for all especially the less privileged in the society.
He reiterated that often time , people misunderstood the will of God in their lives, adding that the righteous shall always inherit the kingdom of God while the unrepentant sinners would be cast out of the kingdom, just as the revered man of God advised youths in the area to embrace peace and unity and respect their elders at all times in order to receive their blessings.
In her remarks, the first daughter of the deceased, Deaconess Esther Asoya said that her mother was a woman of substance who impacted positively on their lives and cared for people that came around her.
