Miss L.G.A to campaign against Child trafficking, labour

All I now see for the winner of the Delta state Miss local government area, beauty contest, to campaign against social vices, like child trafficking, child labour and drug abuse, by promoting Education in the rural areas.miss lga

Winner of the contest, Miss Vanessa Oyeghe, from Isoko north L.G.A, disclosed this during a courtesy visit to the wife of local government council Chairman in Burutu recently. Noting that, she is going to use her crown to promote the girl child development initiative, by making every girl an independent enterprise.
While soliciting for support from the various Chairpersons from different L.G.As during the visit, Miss Vanessa emphasized on the benefit of the pet project, which will; promote female Education in the society, control youth restiveness and prostitution, as well as equip the female youths in full capacity, through skill acquisition and seminars, to create career for the girls.
The Chairman of the Chairpersons, Mrs Golley from Ethiope west, while expressing full support for the initiative, noted that it was a welcome development, urging the Government to support the project, to promote Education in the rural areas.
While commending the Burutu Chairperson for hosting, and other first ladies from the different L.G.As for Supporting the project, the project manager and C.E.O, D.Os entertainment, Mr Emmanuel Okorobeki, noted that it will go a long way to curb social vices in the L.G.As, if the appropriate partnership is implemented.

Commending the First Lady of the state, Mrs Dame Okowa for the recent lunch of the O.2 initiative, Okorobeki described it as timely and long overdue, as most female have lost their sense of belonging.
