The Nigeria political scene has been replete by a lot of inexperienced, amateur and bootlickers. These sets of people are causing serious chaos on daily basis in the states, regions and nation at large. Some of these politicians are already jostling and agitating for 2023 to cause further commotion. These set of political gladiators should be prevented from contesting even the least political positions in the country.
They should be made not to see the light of the day; they should be frustrated; they should be damned; they should be told the truth; they should be told to go into retirement either timely or untimely. In each of the states, the people know the reliable and credible candidates who can take over from the incumbents. These set of reliable politicians should be encouraged and persuaded to tie their girdle in preparation for 2023. These set of people scout for in the Local Governments, States and the Nation at large. In Delta state to be specific, many politicians have started indicating interest to run in 2023. Also, some are being persuaded and encouraged to run as well. We all know the pedigrees of all these people justling and agitating for 2023. Our dear state suffered alot of set back between 2007 and 2015 ranging from bad roads, unemployment, lack of portable water to mention but a few.
Delta State will not like to go back to Egypt but rather need a credible Politicians who will consolidate on what our present political Juggernaut has done and is still doing across the state. We must be careful to choose a good leader like Governor Okowa, who have been nick named “The Road Master”. Though, I am not a Politician but I am quite aware of the encomiums that are been poured on Governor Ifeanye Okowa on daily basis. Even if you don’t like Governor Okowa as a person, you must to like his works. Even the pessimists and members of opposition parties are not left out in praising Governor Okowa.
Governor Okowa is like a good product that even consumers help to advertise. However, I have taken time to research about the people who are justling and warming up to take over from our Road Master. I have equally read and listened to some of them on the pages of newspapers and over the radio and television. I came to the conclusion, that Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi is the most credible and reliable candidate among them all. Olorogun Gbagi has been a great industrialist. He is both local and international business man. He is one person that his businesses have provided jobs to thousands of persons in Nigeria. His Five Stars hotels are in every nook and crannies of the country and in Diasporas as well.
His first class plazas are also scattered in everywhere. Apart from all these, Olorogun Gbagi has other clean reputable businesses across the globe. Based on his business inclination, the name Gbagi is synonymous with Dangote in Nigeria and the world at large.
Olorogun Gbagi being a good and renowned business man has the capability to attract international businesses to Nigeria. Governor Okowa has made the state to be conducive for doing business through his SMART agenda programme for our dear state. Delta State needs reputable companies where her young grandaunts can be gainfully employed.
The issue of unemployment is staring Delta State and Nigeria youths on the face; therefore we need what can help to engage our youths. I believe the man, Olorogun Gbagi knows the plight of our young grandaunts as far as the issue of unemployment is concerned. Olorogun Gbagi is a grassroot politician who knows his onions. Once the the issue of unemployment is tackled, that means Delta State is getting closer to the promised land. Every well meaning Deltan should join their voices to prevail on the former Federal Minister of State for Education to warm up to take over the batten from Governor Okowa, our Road Master in 2023 in order to focus on industrialization among other things in the State.
