ASABA/Nigeria: Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has extended warm congratulations to his Edo counterpart, Mr Godwin Obaseki, on the occasion of his 66th birth anniversary.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor praised Obaseki for his remarkable accomplishments in governing Edo State.
The Delta State Governor hailed Obaseki’s ingenuity, which he said had led to substantial progress in the state’s governance. Governor Oborevwori expressed confidence that posterity would remember Obaseki kindly for his outstanding legacies and achievements throughout his years in service.
“Governor Obaseki has consistently demonstrated patriotism and unwavering dedication to his state and the nation,” stated Governor Oborevwori. He also offered prayers for Obaseki’s long life, good health, and continued wisdom in serving his people and Nigeria.
Particularly, Governor Oborevwori commended Governor Obaseki for his efforts in revitalizing education in Edo State through the successful implementation of the “EDOBEST” initiative. He highlighted that not only the people of Edo but also Nigerians at large were keenly observing Obaseki’s achievements.
“I must commend you, my dear brother Governor, for your sterling accomplishments in the development of your State, which I believe will enable you to finish strong and influence the people of the state to return our party, the PDP, back to Government House at the end of your tenure,” Governor Oborevwori lauded.
The Delta State Governor also took note of Obaseki’s successful delivery of the “EDOBEST” project, improving educational facilities for the citizens of Edo. Furthermore, he commended Obaseki’s numerous infrastructural projects and job creation programs that have empowered many Edo youths to become successful entrepreneurs.
“On behalf of my family, the government, and the people of Delta, I heartily rejoice with my brother Governor, an outstanding professional and seasoned administrator, Mr Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, on his 66th birth anniversary,” said Governor Oborevwori.
In conclusion, he expressed the sincere hope that God would continue to bless Governor Obaseki with robust health and wisdom as he served both God and humanity.
