KWALE/Nigeria: The Youth President of Umusadege-Ogbe Kwale, Comrade Osondu Ezeoba has commended the management of Midwestern and Agip oil and gas exploration companies for embarking on the construction of five roads projects in Kwale.
He stated this yesterday at hippo-street where construction work has commenced.
Comrade Osondu said that their action is in line with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)) between them and the host community.
Meanwhile, the people of Umusadege-ogbe community have expressed joy as contractors handling all the five roads projects have mobilized to site for the completion of the roads to meet the stipulated December 2020 deadline.
The roads under construction earlier suspended before the raining season are Otagbunor Street, hippo street, APA Street, Umusam road and Alama-ossai Street.
The Umusadege youth president, Comrade Osondu sraid that the youths have been meaningfully engaged in the construction work making the total work force as agreed in the M.O.U
One of the contractors handling the construction of hippo and APA street, Mr. Sony Fada said that the roads will be completed before the end of December, 2020 as he has been fully funded to get the job done before December, 2020.
